THE ORIGIN STORY

The Person Behind The Work

I’m Abby, the artist behind Abbriella Ink.

Art was never something I discovered. It was just always there. I grew up painting in my Grammy’s art studio, learning early on that making something with your hands is one of the realest things you can do. My parents ran a motorcycle shop, and I spent those years filling every scrap of paper I could find with flames and skulls, without realizing I was already practicing for the life I wanted.

I fell in love with tattooing in junior high, and from that point on, it never really left me.

I dropped out of college after my first semester not because I was lost, but because I knew exactly what I wanted. The only problem was the door didn’t open right away.So I kept moving.

Personal trainer. Bartender. Freelance graphic designer. Woodworker. Sales manager. Door to door sales. Photographer.

I worked every angle of every job while that one dream stayed the same in the background, quiet but completely unmoved.

To be a tattoo artist.A little over 4  years ago, everything else stopped. With the support of my husband Jacob, my best friend and someone you’ll probably see around the studio, I went all in. No backup plan. No safety net. Just the work and I haven’t looked back since.

Outside of tattooing, I’m creative in a lot of ways. Photography is a huge part of my life, and I’m drawn to anything that feels emotional, raw, and real. I’m obsessed with darker, timeless aesthetics, Victorian, gothic, old world energy, but I balance that with a love for being outside, surrounded by greens, fresh air, and quiet.I love camping, traveling, and slowing things down when I can.

And my dog Layla is my soul dog, the kind you only get once. She’s a huge part of my world.

All of that, my life, my experiences, the way I see things, carries into how I work and how I connect with people.

I’m not here to rush you through an appointment or treat this like a transaction.

I’m here for real conversations, good energy, and creating a space where you can actually relax, be yourself, and feel at home.

ART & TATTOOING

Built From Something Deeper

I work primarily in black and grey, focusing on smooth shading and strong, intentional composition. I pay close attention to how each piece flows with your body and how everything comes together visually, but more than anything, I care that it actually feels like you.

I don’t just take an idea and copy it. I refine it, shape it, and build it into something that fits your body, your energy, and the direction you’re going.

A big part of how I approach tattooing comes from my own experiences getting tattooed when I was younger. I know what it feels like to walk into a shop and feel like an outsider, to be too intimidated to speak up, or to leave wishing you had said something.

I never want that to be your experience.

Yes, I’ll guide you, and I want you to trust me when it comes to design, placement, and overall composition. But I will never put my ego over your comfort or your vision.

If something doesn’t feel right, we talk about it. We adjust. We make sure you feel fully confident before the needle ever touches your skin.

Because at the end of the day, it’s your body.

And my priority is that you walk out feeling better in your skin than when you walked in, not the opposite.

Collected. Curated. Intentional.

The Studio

It doesn't look like a tattoo shop because it isn't one. It's a private studio — one chair, one client, one artist who designed every inch of the space around the idea that the experience should be just as considered as the work. Dark walls. Golden light. Art everywhere you look. You'll feel it the moment you walk through the door.
